Analysis of The Mechanical Properties of Inconel 718

International Conference on Applied Engineering and Natural Sciences, 2023
Super alloys appear as indispensable materials in areas where engineering alloys are used today. What makes these alloys indispensable is that other engineering alloys cannot show the desired mechanical properties under the desired temperature conditions. Especially nickel-based super alloys have become indispensable materials for the aviation industry.

Study on the grinding of Inconel 718

Journal of Materials Processing Technology, 1995
Abstract The grinding process has been investigated in the machining of Inconel 718 with GC, WA and CBN grinding wheels. The machinability discussed here includes surface roughness, dimensional accuracy, grinding force, grinding-wheel wear and grinding-wheel life. The CBN grinding wheel is found to possess particularly good grinding properties and is

Atlas of Formability: INCONEL 718

1992
Abstract : In this investigation, flow behavior of Inconel 718 alloy was studied by conducting compression tests over a wide range of temperatures and strain rates. Constitutive relations were determined from the flow behavior, and a dynamic material modeling was conducted on this alloy.

Thermal spraying of nanocrystalline inconel 718

Nanostructured Materials, 1997
Abstract Nanocrystalline Inconel 718 was thermal sprayed utilizing a HVOF (High Velocity Oxygen Fuel) thermal spraying facility. First, nanocrystalline powder was produced by high energy ball milling of Inconel 718 (average particle size, 10μm) under methanol and gaseous nitrogen. The ball milled powder was then processed by HVOF to produce a coating
