Analysis of thermoelectric properties of high-temperature complex alloys of nickel-base, iron-base and cobalt-base groups [PDF]

open access: yes
The thermoelectric properties alloys of the nickel-base, iron-base, and cobalt-base groups containing from 1% to 25% 106 chromium were compared and correlated with the following material characteristics: atomic percent of the principle alloy constituent;

Simulation of δ-phase precipitation behavior in hot compression deformation of inconel 718 superalloy

open access: yesMaterials Research Express
A model for δ -phase precipitation in Inconel 718 superalloy during hot working, grounded in experimental data, was developed. A Cellular Automata (CA) simulation platform was designed to simulate the precipitation of second-phase particles in the alloy.

Hot tensile tests of Inconel 718 [PDF]

open access: yes
The physical metallurgy of near-solidus integranular cracking in Inconel 718 welds was investigated. The data, although inconclusive, suggest at least two mechanisms which might explain intergranular cracking (microfissuring) in the heat-affected zone of

Post irradiation evaluation of inconel alloy 718 beam window

open access: yes, 2015
Introduction Annealed Inconel 718 alloy was chosen for the beam window at the Los Alamos Neutron Science Center (LANSCE) Isotope Production Facility (IPF) [1]. The window was replaced after 5 years of operation. Mechanical properties and microstructure changes were measured to assess its expected lifetime.
