Predictive utility of a simple cranial magnetic resonance imaging score at term‐equivalent age for cerebral palsy

This study evaluated the Total Abnormality Score (TAS) from cMRI at term‐equivalent age as a predictor of cerebral palsy (CP) in 137 infants born preterm or with low birthweight. Abstract In The Sovereignty of Good, Iris Murdoch argues that our moral thinking will be impoverished until it possesses a secular conception of original sin. Such a notion would need to remove unacceptable Christian baggage while retaining a genuine claim to be a descendant of the original Christian concept.

Steroidogenic compensation and lipid deficiency with enhanced NAD+ salvage in small‐for‐gestational‐age placenta

Fetal growth restriction is associated with placental metabolic adaptations. In small‐for‐gestational‐age placenta (SGA), cholesterol receptors and steroidogenic enzymes are upregulated, enhancing steroidogenesis. NAD salvage pathway is also increased to support NADP+/NADPH requirements.
