Unusual Cortical Phenotype After Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation in a Patient With Osteopetrosis

An adult male with autosomal recessive osteopetrosis due to variants in TCIRG1 underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplant in adulthood. After transplant, despite some decline in DXA BMD Z‐scores and cessation of fractures, spine quantitative computed tomography 11 years later demonstrated sclerosis with BMD Z‐score of +18.3.
