Asymmetric Robin Problems with Indefinite Potential and Concave Terms

open access: yesAdvanced Nonlinear Studies, 2019
We consider a parametric semilinear Robin problem driven by the Laplacian plus an indefinite and unbounded potential. In the reaction, we have the competing effects of a concave term appearing with a negative sign and of an asymmetric asymptotically ...

Case Report: Death penalty versus indefinite imprisonment in Japan: a case note of two court judgments involving autism spectrum disorder and autistic traits [PDF]

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychiatry

Nontrivial Solutions for 4-Superlinear Schrödinger–Kirchhoff Equations with Indefinite Potentials [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Function Spaces, 2021
This paper is devoted to the 4-superlinear Schrödinger–Kirchhoff equation −a+b∫ℝ3∇u2dxΔu+Vxu=fx,u,in ℝ3, where a>0, b≥0. The potential V here is indefinite so that the Schrödinger operator −Δ+V possesses a finite-dimensional negative space.

Infinitely many solutions for Schrödinger–Kirchhoff-type equations involving indefinite potential

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2017
In this paper, we study the multiplicity of solutions for the following Schrödinger–Kirchhoff-type equation \[ \begin{cases}-\left(a+b\int_{\mathbb{R}^N}|\nabla u|^2dx\right)\triangle u+V(x)u=f(x,u)+g(x,u), \quad x\in \mathbb{R}^N,\\ u\in H^1(\mathbb{R}^

On a Robin (p,q)-equation with a logistic reaction [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2019
We consider a nonlinear nonhomogeneous Robin equation driven by the sum of a \(p\)-Laplacian and of a \(q\)-Laplacian (\((p,q)\)-equation) plus an indefinite potential term and a parametric reaction of logistic type (superdiffusive case).

Pragmatic Characteristics of Indefinite Pronouns in Croatian as a Second Language

open access: yesVestnik za Tuje Jezike, 2021
This paper deals with some of the pragmatic characteristics of indefinite pronouns, specifically about the potential for expressing a negative attitude or stance by using them.

Nonlinear singular problems with indefinite potential term [PDF]

open access: yesAnalysis and Mathematical Physics, 2019
We consider a nonlinear Dirichlet problem driven by a nonhomogeneous differential operator plus an indefinite potential. In the reaction we have the competing effects of a singular term and of concave and convex nonlinearities. In this paper the concave term is parametric.

ON STRONGLY INDEFINITE SCHRÖDINGER EQUATIONS WITH NON-PERIODIC POTENTIAL

open access: yesJournal of Applied Analysis & Computation, 2023
Summary: This paper is concerned with the non-periodic superlinear Schrödinger equation \(-\Delta u+V(x)u=f(x, u)\), \(u\in H^1(\mathbb{R}^N)\). Here, the Shrödinger operator \(-\Delta + V\) is strongly indefinite, that is, possesses a infinite dimensional negative space, which leads to more difficulty in verifying the compactness conditions.

Resonant Robin problems with indefinite and unbounded potential [PDF]

open access: yesTopological Methods in Nonlinear Analysis, 2016
We study a semilinear Robin problem with an indefinite and unbounded potential and a reaction term which asymptotically at $ \pm \infty $ is resonant with respect to any nonprincipal nonnegative eigenvalue. We prove two multiplicity theorems producing three and four nontrivial solutions respectively.

Concave-Convex Problems for the Robin p-Laplacian Plus an Indefinite Potential

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
We consider nonlinear Robin problems driven by the p-Laplacian plus an indefinite potential. In the reaction, we have the competing effects of a parametric concave (that is, ( p − 1 ) -sublinear) term and of a convex (that is, ( p −
