On nonlinear fractional Schrodinger equation with indefinite potential and Hardy potential

2022
This paper is concerned with a class of fractional Schr\”{o}dinger equation with Hardy potential \begin{equation}\nonumber (-\Delta)^{s}u+V(x)u-\frac{\kappa}{|x|^{2s}}u=f(x,u),~~x\in \mathbb{R}^{N}, \end{equation} where $s\in(0,1)$ and $\kappa\geq0$ is a parameter.

The Cataphoric Potential of Indefinites in German

2011
Not only do indefinite noun phrases introduce new discourse referents, they also equip them with a cataphoric (or forward-looking) potential, i.e. with a certain degree of activation which is mirrored in discourse effects such as the frequency of anaphoric references back to the referent in the subsequent discourse.

A quasi-linear Schrödinger equation with indefinite potential

Complex Variables and Elliptic Equations, 2016
In this paper, we investigate the existence of solution for the quasi-linear Schrodinger equation:in , where g has a subcritical growth and a kind of monotonicity and V is a potential, which changes sign. We employ the mountain pass theorem to obtain the existence of a non-trivial solution.

Coercive and noncoercive nonlinear Neumann problems with indefinite potential

Forum Mathematicum, 2015
Abstract We consider nonlinear Neumann problems driven by a nonhomogeneous differential operator and an indefinite potential. In this paper we are concerned with two distinct cases. We first consider the case where the reaction is (p-1)-sublinear near ±∞ and (p-1)-superlinear near zero.

Superlinear, Noncoercive Asymmetric Robin Problems with Indefinite, Unbounded Potential

Zeitschrift für Analysis und ihre Anwendungen, 2017
We consider a semilinear Robin problem driven by the Laplacian plus an indefinite and unbounded potential. The reaction term exhibits an asymmetric behavior, namely it is superlinear in the positive direction but without satisfying the Ambrosetti–Rabinowitz condition and it is sublinear but noncoercive in the negative direction.
