Methodology for Teaching Slovaks Russian Indefinite Pronouns
The paper describes the experience of teaching Russian indefinite pronouns to Slovak students. Much attention is paid to the linguistic substantiation of the system of teaching Russian independent pronouns, which is designed on the basis of their ...

Nonlinear resonant problems with an indefinite potential and concave boundary condition
We consider a nonlinear elliptic problem driven by the $p$-Laplacian plus and indefinite potential term. The reaction is $(p-1)$-linear and resonant and the boundary term is concave. The problem is nonparametric.

In this paper, we consider the following sublinear fractional Schrödinger equation: ( − Δ ) s u + V ( x ) u = K ( x ) | u | p − 1 u , x ∈ R N , $$ (-\Delta)^{s}u + V(x)u= K(x) \vert u \vert ^{p-1}u,\quad x\in \mathbb{R}^{N}, $$ where s , p ∈ ( 0 , 1 ) $s,

Existence of solutions for a class of Kirchhoff-type equations with indefinite potential
In this paper, we consider the existence of solutions of the following Kirchhoff-type problem: { − ( a + b ∫ R 3 | ∇ u | 2 d x ) Δ u + V ( x ) u = f ( x , u ) , in R 3 , u ∈ H 1 ( R 3 ) , $$\begin{aligned} \textstyle\begin{cases} - (a+b\int _{\mathbb{R}^

Nonlinear, Nonhomogeneous Robin Problems with Indefinite Potential and General Reaction [PDF]
We consider a nonlinear elliptic equation driven by a nonhomogeneous differential operator plus an indefinite potential. On the reaction term we impose conditions only near zero. Using variational methods, together with truncation and perturbation techniques and critical groups, we produce three nontrivial solutions with sign information.

This paper is concerned with existence and concentration properties of ground-state solutions to the following fractional Choquard equation with indefinite potential: (−Δ)su+V(x)u=∫RNA(εy)∣u(y)∣p∣x−y∣μdyA(εx)∣u(x)∣p−2u(x),x∈RN,{\left(-\Delta )}^{s}u+V ...

Intuitions about infinity in teachers and students aged 15 to 17
As teachers we are constantly teaching topics that have to do with the concept of -infinite- or at least we have talked about it in our lessons, however, I wonder if we really know ¿what an eleventh grader or a mathematics teacher thinks about the ...

Reassessing the computational advantage of quantum-controlled ordering of gates
Research on indefinite causal structures is a rapidly evolving field that has a potential not only to make a radical revision of the classical understanding of space-time but also to achieve enhanced functionalities of quantum information processing. For

Existence of nontrivial solutions for Schrodinger-Kirchhoff equations with indefinite potentials
We consider a class of Schrodinger-Kirchhoff equations in R3 with a general nonlinearity g and coercive sign-changing potential V so that the Schrodinger operator -aΔ +V is indefinite. The nonlinearity considered here satisfies the Ambrosetti-Rabinowitz type condition g(t)t≥μ G(t)>0 with μ>3.

We consider a nonlinear Robin problem driven by the anisotropic $(p,q)$-Laplacian plus an indefinite potential term. In the reaction, we have the competing effects of a parametric concave (sublinear) term perturbed by a superlinear one (concave-convex ...
