According to a recent paper by G. Vignale [Phys. Rev. A 77, 062511 (2008), arXiv:0803.2727], the problems arising in the original derivation of time-dependent density functional theory (TDDFT) based on the Runge-Gross (RG) action-integral functional (AIF)

Strong Kochen-Specker theorem and incomputability of quantum randomness
The Kochen-Specker theorem shows the impossibility for a hidden variable theory to consistently assign values to certain (finite) sets of observables in a way that is non-contextual and consistent with quantum mechanics.

A variant of the Kochen-Specker theorem localising value indefiniteness
The Kochen-Specker theorem proves the inability to assign, simultaneously, noncontextual definite values to all (of a finite set of) quantum mechanical observables in a consistent manner.

Laplacian eigenvalues functionals and metric deformations on compact manifolds [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate critical points of the Laplacian's eigenvalues considered as functionals on the space of Riemmannian metrics or a conformal class of metrics on a compact manifold.

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

French de nominals and Russian non-canonical genitives. Are they partitive-like nominal expressions?
The main goal of this paper is to provide a unified analysis of de nominals in French and noncanonical genitive nominals in Russian. Unlike previous literature that relies on partitivity, quantification and case assignment, we argue that a unified ...

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.

Knot invariants and indefinite causal order [PDF]
We explore indefinite causal order between events in the context of quasiclassical spacetimes in superposition. We introduce several new quantifiers to measure the degree of indefiniteness of the causal order for an arbitrary finite number of events and ...
