Edge subdivision and edge multisubdivision versus some domination related parameters in generalized corona graphs [PDF]
Given a graph \(G=(V,E)\), the subdivision of an edge \(e=uv\in E(G)\) means the substitution of the edge \(e\) by a vertex \(x\) and the new edges \(ux\) and \(xv\).

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

New Bounds for Three Outer-Independent Domination-Related Parameters in Cactus Graphs
Let G be a nontrivial connected graph. For a set D⊆V(G), we define D¯=V(G)∖D. The set D is a total outer-independent dominating set of G if |N(v)∩D|≥1 for every vertex v∈V(G) and D¯ is an independent set of G.

Independence-domination duality in weighted graphs [PDF]
Given a partition ${\mathcal V}=(V_1, \ldots,V_m)$ of the vertex set of a graph $G$, an {\em independent transversal} (IT) is an independent set in $G$ that contains one vertex from each $V_i$. A {\em fractional IT} is a non-negative real valued function on $V(G)$ that represents each part with total weight at least $1$, and belongs as a vector to the ...

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

Outer-Independent Italian Domination in Graphs
An outer-independent Italian dominating function (OIIDF) on a graph G with vertex set V(G) is defined as a function f : V(G) → {0, 1, 2}, such that every vertex v ∈ V(G) with f(v) = 0 has at least two neighbors assigned 1 under f or one ...

Independent Domination in Directed Graphs
In this paper we initialize the study of independent domination in directed graphs. We show that an independent dominating set of an orientation of a graph is also an independent dominating set of the underlying graph, but that the converse is not true in general. We then prove existence and uniqueness theorems for several classes of digraphs including

Molecular bases of circadian magnesium rhythms across eukaryotes
Circadian rhythms in intracellular [Mg2+] exist across eukaryotic kingdoms. Central roles for Mg2+ in metabolism suggest that Mg2+ rhythms could regulate daily cellular energy and metabolism. In this Perspective paper, we propose that ancestral prokaryotic transport proteins could be responsible for mediating Mg2+ rhythms and posit a feedback model ...
