DIRECTION PROBLEM IN LEADER-FOLLOWER FORMATIONS OF UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES AND SATELLITE CLUSTERS

open access: yesHavacılık ve Uzay Teknolojileri Dergisi, 2007
This paper is concerned with information structures used in rigid formations of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s) and micro-satellite clusters that have leader-follower architecture. The focus of the paper is on sensor/network topologies to secure control

Ensemble width estimation in HRTF-convolved binaural music recordings using an auditory model and a gradient-boosted decision trees regressor

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Audio, Speech, and Music Processing
Binaural audio recordings become increasingly popular in multimedia repositories, posing new challenges in indexing, searching, and retrieval of such excerpts in terms of their spatial audio scene characteristics. This paper presents a new method for the

NanoLoop: A Deep Learning Framework Leveraging Nanopore Sequencing for Chromatin Loop Prediction

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Chromatin loops are central to gene regulation and 3D genome organization. Leveraging Nanopore sequencing's ability to jointly capture DNA sequence and methylation, we present NanoLoop, the first framework for genome‐wide chromatin loop prediction using Nanopore data.

Discovery of an Adaptive Neuroimmune Response Driving Itch and Fast Tick Removal with Implications for Preventing Pathogen Transmission

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Doehl et al. discovered an adaptive neuroimmune mechanism that induces itch in tick‐exposed guinea pigs, enabling rapid tick removal. This itch‐induced tick removal (IITR) is mediated by an adaptive cellular immune response and is independent of IgG, IgE, or TRPV1.

ZBTB21 Is a Dual Suppressor of Pyroptosis and MHC‐I Antigen Presentation That Promotes Tumor Immune Evasion

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ZBTB21 is a transcription factor that epigenetically suppresses pyroptosis and MHC‐I antigen presentation, enabling tumor immune evasion. Genetic ablation of ZBTB21 activates pyroptotic cell death and enhances antigen presentation, recruiting CD8+ T cells to overcome immune checkpoint blockade resistance.

Pan‐3D Genome Analysis Reveals the Roles of Structural Variation in Chicken Chromatin Architectures, Domestication and Production Traits

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study firstly presents a comprehensive and high‐resolution pan‐3D genome resource in chicken. Our findings reveal the role of structural variations in 3D genome architectures, and how they influence the domestication process and production traits at the 3D genome level.

Intrinsic PPG–ECG Coupling for Accurate and Low‐Power Blood Pressure Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A PPG–ECG coupling strategy for continuous blood pressure monitoring that intrinsically synchronizes signals within a single waveform is demonstrated, minimizing synchronization errors and hardware complexity. This approach halves power consumption while maintaining high accuracy, enabling compact, energy‐efficient wearable devices for personalized ...
