A rapid indirect ELISA for the serogrouping of Australian orbiviruses
This communication describes the development and evaluation of a simple and rapid method for the classification of Australian orbiviruses into one of seven established serogroups (i.e. bluetongue, epizootic haemorrhagic disease of deer, Palyam, Eubenangee, Corriparta, Wallal, Warrego) or an 'ungrouped' category.

Gαi1/3 Is a Novel Regulatory Target for RANKL Signal Transduction and Osteoporosis
ABSTRACT Osteoporosis, characterized by progressive bone loss and increased fracture risk, is a growing concern as the population ages. Current treatments, though advanced, remain limited, underscoring the necessity for novel therapeutic targets. Recent studies have shown that the immune system plays a key role in osteoporosis, with osteoclasts driving

Antibody responses to nasopharyngeal carriage of Streptococcus pneumoniae in adults: A longitudinal household study [PDF]
Background. Natural immunity to Streptococcus pneumoniae is thought to be induced by exposure to S. pneumoniae or cross-reactive antigens. No longitudinal studies of carriage of and immune responses to S.

CDK4/6 inhibition promotes CD8+ T cell expansion through tumor‐macrophage crosstalk by activating HIF‐1α and enhancing MIF‐CD44/CD74 signaling. This reprograms TAMs to boost MHC‐I antigen presentation, and CDK4/6 inhibitor‐trained M1 TAM supernatant therapy synergizes with low‐dose PD‐1 blockade to restore antitumor immunity.

The recombinant protein rSP03B is a valid antigen for screening dog exposure to Phlebotomus perniciosus across foci of canine leishmaniasis [PDF]
The frequency of sandfly-host contacts can be measured by host antibody levels against sandfly salivary proteins. Recombinant salivary proteins are suggested to represent a valid replacement for salivary gland homogenate (SGH); however, it is necessary ...

Pathogenic Role of FGFR3 Autoantibodies in Small Fiber Neuropathy
Autoantibodies against fibroblast growth factor receptor 3 (FGFR3) are identified as pathogenic drivers of pain in small fiber neuropathy. By binding to sensory neurons in dorsal root ganglia, FGFR3 autoantibodies activate MAPK signaling and induce hyperexcitability and mechanical hypersensitivity, establishing FGFR3 autoantibodies as a therapeutic ...

Isotype specific ELISAs to detect antibodies against swine vesicular disease virus and their use in epidemiology [PDF]
Isotype specific ELISAs to detect antibodies against swine vesicular disease, which may help to estimate the moment of infection, were developed and validated on sera from pigs experimentally infected with four different isolates of swine vesicular ...

This research identified cardiac amyloid pathology, neurotrophic factor depletion, and reduced myocardial nerve function in a transgenic model of cerebral amyloidosis (Tg2576), Aβ‐challenged cardiomyocytes, and in human AD heart tissue. These findings carry significant diagnostic and therapeutic implications, emphasizing the role of neuro‐signaling ...

Development and validation of an ELISA to detect antibodies to Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis in ovine sera [PDF]
Several enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays (ELISAs) have been developed for the detection of antibodies to Corynebacterium pseudotuberculosis, the causative agent of caseous lymphadenitis (CLA). However, none are commercially available in the UK.
