Indium-rich indium-magnesium and indium-lithium alloys
Philosophical Magazine, 1957Abstract For comparison with the results obtained from alloys of indium with solute metals from Group IIB of the periodic table, the lattice spacings of indium-magnesium and indium-lithium alloys have been measured. Although the results show an unexpected scatter, they establish that neither magnesium nor lithium cause a marked axial ratio decrease.

Determination of indium and thallium in indium-thallium alloys
Talanta, 1971The thallium-indium alloys were dissolved in sulphuric acid (1 + 1). In this medium thallium remained in the univalent state and could be determined directly, without a separation, by an oxidation-reduction titration with potassium bromate. The indium was determined directly with an EDTA titration.

Some Thermodynamic Properties of Indium Trichloride, Indium Hydroxide, and Indium Trioxide
Canadian Journal of Chemistry, 1974The equilibrium diagram of the system InCl3–H2O as been determined as far as it can be followed. From these freezing points, the activity coefficients at the freezing temperatures have been calculated. The heats of solution and of dilution of hydrated and of anhydrous indium chloride, in water, have been determined, as well as the heats of solution of

Indium tricyanide and indium trithiocyanate
Journal of the Chemical Society A: Inorganic, Physical, Theoretical, 1966The preparation of indium tricyanide and indium trithiocyanate is reported. Some chemical properties of these compounds are described. The compounds have been studied by X-ray powder methods. In(CN)3 is indexed on the basis of a monoclinic unit cell with a= 6·80 ± 0·05, b= 11·90 ± 0·5, c= 97 ± 0·05 A, β= 116·8°± 0·2°.

Thermomigration in indium and indium alloy films
Journal of Applied Physics, 1985Thermomigration in indium and indium alloy films of thickness between 0.3 and 3 μm was studied between 80 and 145 °C in a scanning electron microscope, using a newly developed test pattern with a stripe heater of 10 μm width. The amount of transported material was determined as a function of time and temperature by measuring the size of the holes ...

[Comparison of whole blood indium and the serum indium of the population exposed to the indium].
Zhonghua lao dong wei sheng zhi ye bing za zhi = Zhonghua laodong weisheng zhiyebing zazhi = Chinese journal of industrial hygiene and occupational diseases, 2018Objective: The method was established for the detection of whole blood indium and serum indium. By comparing the results of two samples, it is possible to explore the significance of whole blood indium and serum indium in the population exposed to indium compounds. Methods: According to GBZ/T 295-2017 and GBZ 294-2017, the whole blood and serum samples

Oxidation of indium in gold-indium alloys
Journal of Applied Physics, 1985The oxidation in air of AuIn alloys with low indium content (1 ppm, 0.1 and 1.0 at. %) was investigated with the help of the time-differential perturbed angular correlation technique. From the results it is concluded that the oxidation is external and is independent of solute concentration.

The systems sodium-indium and lithium-indium
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1969Abstract The solubility of indium in liquid sodium was determined in the temperature range 100–253·5°. From these solubility data the heat, Δ H i( sol ) , the entropy, Δ S i( sol ) xs and the free energy, Δ G i( sol ) , of solution were calculated.

Indium as a source of impurities in indium arsenide
Solid-State Electronics, 1960Abstract The sulfur content of high-purity indium samples from five commercial suppliers, as determined by a colorimetric method, has been found to range from 0·36 p.p.m. (by weight) to less than 0·05 p.p.m. (by weight), the limit of detection. These results, together with recent data on the purification of arsenic by treatment with molten lead, show
