Soft-Voting Ensemble Model: An Efficient Learning Approach for Predictive Prostate Cancer Risk
Prostate cancer is increasingly common among men. However, the process of diagnosing malignant disease is relatively complicated and time-consuming. Identifying benign or malignant tumors early can assist medical professionals in choosing appropriate ...

Digital twins to accelerate target identification and drug development for immune‐mediated disorders
Digital twins integrate patient‐derived molecular and clinical data into personalised computational models that simulate disease mechanisms. They enable rapid identification and validation of therapeutic targets, prediction of drug responses, and prioritisation of candidate interventions.

Research on a High-Efficiency Goat Individual Recognition Method Based on Machine Vision
Accurate identification of individual goat identity is necessary for precision farming. Previous studies have primarily focused on using front face images for goat identification, leaving the potential of other appearances and multi-source appearance ...

Rapid screening of staphylokinase protein variants using an unpurified cell‐free expression system
An unpurified cell‐free protein synthesis (CFPS) platform enables rapid functional screening of staphylokinase variants. Direct plasminogen‐activation assays performed in microplate format provide real‐time activity readouts, allowing rapid identification and ranking of variants with improved or reduced fibrinolytic activity without protein ...

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Individual Fairness in Machine Learning
Denne oppgaven undersøker metoder for å oppdage bias for datasett og bruke et saksbasert resonnementsystem konstruert ved hjelp av automatiserte vektberegninger for å sikre individuell rettferdighet. Kunstig intelligens (KI)-systemer introduseres daglig i nye fasetter i samfunnet. Disse systemene er laget for å ta viktige beslutninger om menneskers liv

Mass spectrometry based identification of AMP‐O‐Tris generated by Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10
Isolated Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10 generates the noncanonical ATP‐derived product AMP‐O‐Tris while in Tris‐containing buffer as identified via mass spectrometry, revealing relaxed nucleophile selectivity under isolated conditions. These findings suggest that multiprotein Csm complex assembly restricts Cas10 reactivity toward canonical cyclic ...

Fifth Fundamental Catalogue (FK5). Part 1: Basic fundamental stars (Fricke, Schwan, and Lederle 1988): Documentation for the machine-readable version [PDF]
The machine-readable version of the catalog, as it is currently being distributed from the Astronomical Data Center, is described. The Basic FK5 provides improved mean positions and proper motions for the 1535 classical fundamental stars that had been ...
