Hydrogen-induced anisotropy in Dy0.73Tb0.27Fe1.5Co0.5
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 1997Abstract Large anisotropy in Dy 0.73 Tb 0.27 Fe 1.5 Co 0.5 H 0.5 when compared with Dy 0.73 Tb 0.27 Fe 1.5 Co 0.5 has been attributed to the orientational ordering of hydrogen atoms in the lattice. Pinning effects and discontinuous jumps in magnetization have been observed at 4.2 K, up to a magnetic field of 2 kOe.

Induced and inherent anisotropy in sand
Géotechnique, 1985Data from an extensive series of drained tests on dense sand in a directional shear cell have been used to explore the interaction of inherent and induced anisotropy. The essential link between previous strain and induced anisotropy has been demonstrated.

Induced anisotropy in nanocrystalline FeCuNbSiB
IEEE Transactions on Magnetics, 1994The kinetics of induced anisotropy K/sub ind/ was studied in nanocrystalline Fe/sub 73.5/Cu/sub 1/Nb/sub 3/Si/sub 13.5/B/sub 9/, as well as in the amorphous precursor and in amorphous Fe/sub 78/B/sub 13/Si/sub 9/. The nanocrystalline alloy was produced from the precursor by annealing at 813 K for 1 h and possessed an average FeSi grain size of 13 nm ...

Damage Induced Elastic Anisotropy
1982The concept of damage has been introduced by Rabotnov and Kachanov in 1958 for the description of creep rupture. Since then this concept has been used to account for various types of rupture occuring in metals and other kinds of solids: creep rupture, fatigue, plastic rupture.

Sources of Induced Plastic Anisotropy
2001Mathematical simplicity of the phonomennological theory of plasticity enables us to apply its results directly to the analysis and design and design of technological processes. However, such an approach is only a formalization of known experimental results and does not penetrate deeply into the physical basis of the plastic yielding process.

On the Roles of Initial and Induced Anisotropies
1995To fully understand anisotropic behaviour and reveal the general rules, it is necessary to classify all kinds of anisotropy. This fundamental problem has been well studied in a recent paper of Zheng and Boehler [1]. In particular, all possible initial and induced anisotropies are classified. The description of material symmetry by direct observation of
