Geophysical and structural survey in copper occurrence located in the northern region of the Camaquã basin (RS)

open access: yesREM: International Engineering Journal, 2021
The geophysical diagnosis of mineral deposits can be extremely useful in detailing mineralized zones and is a strategy for direct sampling by probing holes for content analysis.

TRADE‐INDUCED SKILL POLARIZATION [PDF]

open access: yesEconomic Inquiry, 2019
We study how wage gaps across skills and the skill distribution in an economy respond to trade integration. Using administrative data of Denmark (1995–2011), we find that trade has a negative effect on the wage gap between secondary and primary education and a positive effect on the wage gap between tertiary and secondary education.

Inverse modeling of resistivity and induced polarization data for Copper mineralization exploration in Chahshen area, east of Miami, Semnan

open access: yesJournal of Economic Geology, 2023
In recent decades, various methods have been developed for mineral exploration. Geophysical methods are one example, which have seen significant development in recent years and have become a common approach in the field of mining exploration ...

Inductive source induced polarization [PDF]

open access: yesGeophysical Journal International, 2012
We present a new survey methodology to map the distribution of chargeable material in the subsurface using inductive electromagnetic sources and observations of the magnetic fields in the frequency domain. An accompanying inversion algorithm is developed, and the technique is tested on synthetic data.

Induced transparency by interference or polarization [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, 2021
Significance Electromagnetically induced transparency (EIT) describes the phenomenon that an opaque optical medium becomes transparent due to interference effects. EIT plays a pivotal role in engineering slow light and quantum memory. However, polarization effects could cause similar phenomena and therefore were considered as EIT occasionally.

Geophysical exploration and geological appraisal of the Siah Diq porphyry Cu–Au prospect: A recent discovery in the Chagai volcano magmatic arc, SW Pakistan

open access: yesOpen Geosciences, 2022
Discovery of the Siah Diq porphyry (Cu–Au) prospect in the foothill of Dam Koh volcano is a recent exploration success story of mineralization buried under a 46 m alluvium cover in an exploratory mature Chagai belt.

Computation of Analytical Derivatives for Airborne TEM Inversion Using a Cole–Cole Parameterization Based on the Current Waveform of the Transmitter

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Airborne transient electromagnetic (ATEM) technology is a technique often used in mineral exploration and geological mapping. Due to inductive polarization (IP) phenomena, the ATEM response curve often shows a negative response or declines rapidly to the

Induced polarization of volcanic rocks. 4. Large-scale induced polarization imaging [PDF]

open access: yesGeophysical Journal International, 2021
SUMMARY Thanks to the emergence of new technologies developed with the goal of performing large-scale galvanometric induced polarization surveys and thanks a better understanding of the underlying physics of induced polarization, this geophysical method can now be applied in the field of volcanology and geothermal resources assessment. Modern rheology and electric induction: multivalued index of refraction, splitting of eigenvalues and fatigue

open access: yesAnnals of Geophysics, 1996
The modern constitutive equations of the rheology of analeptic media and of the polarization in dielectric media are discussed in the time and frequency domains.
