Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Interaction-induced negative differential resistance in asymmetric molecular junctions
Combining insights from quantum chemistry calculations with master equations, we discuss a mechanism for negative differential resistance (NDR) in molecular junctions, operated in the regime of weak tunnel coupling.

Therapeutic strategies for MMAE‐resistant bladder cancer through DPP4 inhibition
We established monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE)‐resistant bladder cancer (BC) cell lines by exposure to progressively increasing concentrations of MMAE in vitro. RNA sequencing showed DPP4 expression was increased in MMAE‐resistant BC cells. Both si‐DPP4 and the DPP4 inhibitor sitagliptin suppressed the viability of MMAE‐resistant BC cells.

We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

Theory of the microwave induced zero resistance states in two-dimensional electron systems
The phenomena of the microwave induced zero resistance states (MIZRS) and the microwave induced resistance oscillations (MIRO) were discovered in the ultraclean two-dimensional electron systems in 2001 -- 2003 and have attracted great interest of ...

Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Enhanced Gas-Flow-Induced Voltage in Graphene
We show by systemically experimental investigation that gas-flow-induced voltage in monolayer graphene is more than twenty times of that in bulk graphite. Examination over samples with sheet resistances ranging from 307 to 1600 {\Omega}/sq shows that the

Does Myostatin Induce Insulin Resistance?
Bonala et al. (1) report that high glucose or fat increases myostatin protein expression in muscle and surprisingly liver (cells and tissue) and that myostatin induces insulin resistance. Their myostatin antiserum used for Western blotting and possibly ELISAs (not discussed) recognizes a reported 26-kDa protein under reducing conditions despite a ...
