A Categorical Semantics for Inductive-Inductive Definitions [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Induction-induction is a principle for defining data types in Martin-Lof Type Theory. An inductive-inductive definition consists of a set A, together with an A-indexed family B : A → Set, where both A and B are inductively defined in such a way that the constructors for A can refer to B and vice versa.

Mutual inductance calculation for coils with misalignment in wireless power transfer

open access: yesThe Journal of Engineering, 2019
In wireless power transfer (WPT) systems, the energy transmission channel is established by the coupling relationship between transmitting coil and receiving coil, and the coupling strength is usually measured by coupling coefficient.

Prevalence of 21 Physician‐Defined Severe Toxicities Following Childhood Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Treatment: Australian Retrospective Cohort Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, with an overall survival now surpassing 90% in developed countries. However, treatments are not without adverse effects. In this study, we apply the severe toxicity‐free survival (STFS) framework to determine the prevalence of 21 physician‐defined severe ...

Induction of Labour [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the Royal Society of Medicine, 1963
' The first account of any artificial method of bringing on premature labour was given to me by Dr. C. Kelly. He informed me that'about the year I756 there was a consultation of the most eminent men in London at that time, to consider of the moral rectitude of, and advantages which may be expected from, this practice, which met with their general ...
