Exact solutions and physical analogies for unidirectional flows
Unidirectional flow is the simplest phenomenon of fluid mechanics. Its mathematical description, the Dirichlet problem for Poisson's equation in two dimensions with constant forcing, arises in many physical contexts, such as the torsion of elastic beams,

Analysis of the influence of the pipe’s wall thickness on the corrugation of the surface during inductive bending of pipes [PDF]
The paper presents a calculation model for simulation the technological process of inductive bending of pipes. In the case of an incorrect combination of geometric bending parameters (pipe diameter, bend radius and pipe wall thickness) occurs the corrugation of the inner part in the pipe bend.

Crack growth around stress concentrations in pipes and tubes [PDF]
Fatigue crack growth behaviour in pipes fundamentally differs from fatigue growth in shafts and flat plates. The aim of this paper is to give a better understanding of this phenomenon.

Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.

A Comparative Study on Early‐Stage Icing Evaluation Techniques for Passive Ice Protection Systems
This study addresses the lack of standardized methodologies for evaluating the early‐stage icing performance of passive ice protection systems. A unified experimental protocol is proposed and applied to representative hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfaces under controlled conditions.

Explosion Cracking Analysis of Sulfur Resistance Induction Heat Bend Pipe
Abstract The explosion cracking reason on induction heat bend pipe was analyzed through macroscopic analysis, chemical composition analysis, mechanical properties testing, metallographic analysis, scanning electron microscopy and XRD. The results showed that the chemical composition, tensile test, Vickers hardness results of the straight
