Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Non-intrusive efficiency estimation of induction machines
Includes abstract.Includes bibliographical references (leaves 189-194).Determining the efficiency of an in-service motor requires the motor to be decoupled from its load or the use of highly specialised equipment which is often unavailable on site.

In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Practical Test on the Operation of the Three-Phase Induction Motor under Single-Phasing Fault
Single-phasing is a common problem in the three-phase electrical grid. Despite the fact that the fault occurs in one phasing, the three-phase load is affected, and therefore the load is typically turned off.

Subtype‐specific enhancer RNAs define transcriptional regulators and prognosis in breast cancers
This study employed machine learning methodologies to perform the subtype‐specific classification of RNA‐seq data sets, which are mapped on enhancers from TCGA‐derived breast cancer patients. Their integration with gene expression (referred to as ProxCReAM eRNAs) and chromatin accessibility profiles has the potential to identify lineage‐specific and ...

Design Of Maximum Torque Per Ampere Control Method In Squirrel Cage Three-Phase Induction Motor
Improving the performance of three-phase induction motors is currently carried out by various control methods. One of them is controlling a three-phase induction motor using the Maximum Torque Per Ampere (MTPA) method.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Modulation Signal Bispectrum Analysis of Motor Current Signals for Stator Fault Diagnosis
Induction motors are the most widely used electrical machines in industry. To diagnose any possible incipient faults, many techniques have been developed.

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.
