Ethanol loading in an inductively coupled plasma

Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 1996
Changes to the fundamental and analytical parameters of a plasma have been investigated when ethanol has been added to aqueous or organic solutions. Excitation temperature, electron number density, and intensity of the H(alpha) line increased when ethanol has been added to aqueous solutions, while an electron density decrease and signal reduction have ...

Modeling inductive coupling on a PCB surface

Eurocon 2013, 2013
Magnetic coupling occurs when magnetic field lines of an electric circuit are closing into another electric circuit. This can be an undesired effect that affects both circuits. The coupling element is mutual inductance. This paper aims to analyze the effects of inductive coupling. Coupling capacity or mutual inductance will be determined by solving the

Parametric analysis of the inductively coupled plasma

Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 1996
A systematic parametric study of an LTE (local thermodynamic equilibrium) mathematical model of pure inductively coupled argon plasma (ICAP) used for spectrochemical purposes was performed by means of computer simulations. The spatial distributions of temperature, gas velocity, magnetic field and energy losses were investigated under typical plasma ...

Inductively coupled plasmas: Optimizing the inductive-coupling efficiency for large-area source design

Journal of Vacuum Science & Technology A: Vacuum, Surfaces, and Films, 2005
An inductively coupled plasma (ICP) source enabling high-density plasma generation was developed for large area processing. Technological difficulties related to the scaling up of the coil antenna, dielectric vacuum window, and gas distribution have been addressed.

Inductively Coupled Telemetry

2009
This paper describes the extension of RFID near field inductively coupled communication to create passive transponders capable of sensing and actuation in extreme environments. A simple model of near field coupling is presented in order to provide a mathematical context for the behavior and performance of such systems.

Neon Inductively Coupled Plasma for Laser Ablation-Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry

Applied Spectroscopy, 2002
The use of a neon inductively coupled plasma (Ne ICP) in place of an argon inductively coupled plasma (Ar ICP) for laser ablation microprobe-inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (LAM-ICP-MS) is demonstrated. Gas blank mass spectra were obtained comparing the signals obtained with an Ar ICP with the Ne ICP.

Respective parts of capacitive and inductive coupling

Proceedings. 9th IEEE Workshop on Signal Propagation on Interconnects, 2005., 2005
Rapid progress in integrated circuit technology has led to an increase in the switching speed of the digital chip. As a result, there is a growing interest in the inductance associated with signal lines. In this paper we show the influence of inductance on crosstalk voltage by considering a configuration of two parallel coupled interconnects.

Magnetization and impedance of an inductively coupled metal sphere

International Journal of Engineering Science, 1994
Abstract Magnetization and impedance of an electrically conducting sphere, which is inductively coupled with an arbitrary, sinusoidally alternating current density distribution, are calculated analytically. The general results are applied to the special case, where the external current density distribution is concentrated on thin, toroidal rings ...
