Resonant Inductive WPT Link with Multiple Transmitters
2020 XXXIIIrd General Assembly and Scientific Symposium of the International Union of Radio Science, 2020This paper analyzes the case of a resonant inductive wireless power transfer link using multiple transmitters. The optimal analytical solution is obtained by solving a generalized eigenvalue problem. The general case of a link using N transmitters with any coupling is solved and discussed.

A cycloconvertor-linked induction heating system
IEE Proceedings B Electric Power Applications, 1983A naturally commutated cycloconvertor-type frequency-changer system operating in the inverting mode has been used for the first time for the induction heating of metals, thus dispensing with the usual DC link. The proposed scheme has been mathematically analysed. Control schemes have been devised and are experimentally verified.

Induction of Closely Linked Multiple Mutations by Nitrosoguanidine
Nature New Biology, 1971N-methyl-N-nitro-N-nitrosoguanidine (nitrosoguanidine) is a powerful and widely used mutagen. Using synchronized populations of Escherichia coliwe have shown that large numbers of mutations occur at specific loci when these loci are replicated1. This specificity makes it possible to use nitrosoguanidine to direct mutagenesis, to study the mode of ...

Practical considerations for high-frequency inductive links
SPIE Proceedings, 2008Inductive power links are a popular method of wirelessly transferring power to small devices. High efficiency power transmitters such as the Class-E transmitter are the preferred choice for frequencies up to the low MHz range, however at frequencies above 100 MHz, the circuit does not produce a high enough efficiency.

Analysis of Unloaded Resonant Inductive WPT Link
2019 IEEE 2nd Ukraine Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering (UKRCON), 2019This paper presents an analysis of series-series compensated unloaded inductive wireless power transfer system, without neglecting equivalent primary and secondary resistances. It is shown that equivalent first-harmonic-approximation based phasor-domain equivalent circuit underestimates the output DC voltage under these conditions, hence solution based

Linking fluorescence induction curve and biomass in herbicide screening
Pest Management Science, 2003Abstract A suite of dose–response bioassays with white mustard ( Sinapis alba L) and sugar beet ( Beta vulgaris L) in the greenhouse and with three herbicides was used to analyse how the fluorescence induction curves (Kautsky curves ...

Modeling of mutual inductance for planar inductors used in inductive link applications
2012 IEEE International Conference on Electron Devices and Solid State Circuit (EDSSC), 2012Prediction of mutual coupling is needed to characterize any inductive link system used in wireless power transfer applications. This paper presents a compact model of mutual inductance between two planar inductors at various separation distances. The proposed model is derived by solving the Neumann's integral using series expansion technique. Numerical

An Inductive Link with Integrated Receiving Coil—Coupling Coefficient and Link Efficiency
Journal of Computational Electronics, 2005Inductive powering can free microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) devices from tethering to a power supply, thus expanding their scope of applications. We investigate inductive powering for MEMS using a microfabricated coil as a receiver operating at and below 1 MHz.

Design and optimization of a power inductive link
2014 IEEE International Instrumentation and Measurement Technology Conference (I2MTC) Proceedings, 2014The wireless power transfer efficiency plays an important role in design of implantable biomedical devices. There are some important constraints in the design, such as the size of the implantable coil as well as the power delivered to the implant.
