Inductance measurements at CENAM
2012 Conference on Precision electromagnetic Measurements, 2012Based on a Maxwell-Wien bridge (MWB) and well characterized inductance standards, Centro Nacional de Metrologia (CENAM) is able to perform low uncertainty inductance measurements. Technical characteristics of the standards and measurement systems, validation results and other technical support are presented in this paper.

Inductive oscillometric measurements
Journal of Electroanalytical Chemistry, 1970Summary The relations between the characteristics of an oscillometric “external inductance” type of cell and the frequenziometric sensitivity, when dealing with solutions of electrolytes, have been examined. The measurements taken using different values of inductance having the same diameter have shown a maximum sensitivity for a given concentration.

Biomass measurement by inductive permittivity
Biotechnology and Bioengineering, 1997An electrodeless, inductive permittivity probe is shown to reliably indicate fermentation biomass. By designing the probe based on electromagnetic induction, the electrode polarization artifact-common to electrode-based permittivity measurements of conductive solutions-is eliminated. The measurement of viable biomass concentration (X(V)) is precise and

INDUCTIVE COMPLEXITY MEASURES FOR MATHEMATICAL PROBLEMS
International Journal of Foundations of Computer Science, 2013An algorithmic uniform method to measure the complexity of finitely refutable statements [6, 7, 9] was used to classify famous/interesting mathematical statements like Fermat's last theorem, the four colour theorem, and the Riemann hypothesis [8, 15, 16].

Measurement of Induction-Hardening Depth
2003In case of inhomogeneous materials, the resonance frequency is governed by the elastic constants and density at the positions of maximum stress and amplitude, respectively, which locate in the medium, depending on the individual resonant mode. Different resonant modes provide the information on the elastic property at different positions, and the ...

A programmable capacitor for inductance measurements
2016 Conference on Precision Electromagnetic Measurements (CPEM 2016), 2016This paper describes a programmable capacitor intended for use as the reference impedance in an inductance measurement system. The capacitor is programmable from 1 pF to 39 $\mu \text{F}$ with a resolution of 1 pF and consists of a parallel combination of commercially available capacitors with values that follow the Fibonacci series progression ...

Return path inductance in measurements of package inductance matrixes
IEEE Transactions on Components, Packaging, and Manufacturing Technology: Part B, 1997Circuit theory is applied to show that the effects of the return path on measured inductance matrices can be negligible. Measured inductance matrices using three distinctly different return paths are shown to be very different but equivalent.
