Current Sensor with low inductance

2019 20th International Scientific Conference on Electric Power Engineering (EPE), 2019
This paper deals with design of current sensor introducing low inductance. The sensor is designed for a current up to 500 A and 120 kHz. Since the market offers several types of sensors suitable for the targeted application, they usually have problems with measured signal postprocessing.

Pulse induction parking sensor

2016 IEEE SENSORS, 2016
This paper presents a pulse induction parking sensor, which measures the induced voltage generated by the presence of a vehicle. The parking information can be then shared into a network to inform the drivers about the on-street parking availability.

Application of an inductive sensor system for identifying ripeness and forecasting harvest time of oil palm

, 2020
Ripeness estimation of oil palm fresh fruit bunches is a crucial component in the management of oil palm harvesting, as it will lead to profitability and marketability of the product. The purpose of this study is to develop an oil palm maturity detection

An Implantable Wireless Inductive Sensor System Designed to Monitor Prosthesis Motion in Total Joint Replacement Surgery

IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 2020
Currently, the most common method for detecting prosthetic implant loosening is imaging. Unfortunately, imaging methods are imprecise in detecting the early signs of implant loosening. This paper describes a new wireless inductive proximity sensor system

High-Sensitivity Inductive Pressure Sensor

IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 2011
A new type of pressure sensors with extremely high sensitivity is introduced. Unlike piezoresistive, capacitive, and linear-variable-differential-transformer-based pressure sensors, the new sensor is based on a technique for substantially changing the inductance of a coil. The prototype device has demonstrated a change in inductance of approximately 34.

An Inductive Sensor With a Biased Magnetic Field to Distinguish Wear Debris by Magnetism and Conductivity

IEEE/ASME transactions on mechatronics
Inductive wear debris sensors are an indispensable tool for real-time wear monitoring. Traditionally, these sensors contain only one type of magnetic field, time harmonic or static, and so cannot avoid the contradiction between magnetization and eddy ...

Absolute Inductive Angular Displacement Sensor for Position Detection of YRT Turntable Bearing

IEEE transactions on industrial electronics (1982. Print), 2022
This article proposes an absolute-type inductive angle sensor for detecting the position of the YRT turntable bearing. The sensor comprises a multispeed incremental measuring unit and a single-speed absolute measuring unit sharing the same stator, rotor,

A new electronic interface for inductive sensors

2015 10th Asian Control Conference (ASCC), 2015
A new electronic interface for inductive sensors is presented. The proposed circuit is basically a current-feedback operational-amplifier (CFOA)-based sinusoidal oscillator circuit. The circuit uses only one externally connected inductor and exploits to advantage the internal poles of the CFOA.

A readout system for inductive position sensors

2007 18th European Conference on Circuit Theory and Design, 2007
The readout electronics for contact-less inductive position sensors are currently based on discrete solutions. To enhance overall system performance, the implementation of the readout electronics into a single ASIC is desirable. This paper discusses the key system blocks of the analog front-end.
