Roll‐to‐Roll Processable EC/TC Hybrid Smart Windows Driven by a Bidirectional Dual‐Chromic Polymer Electrolyte

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
We present a scalable EC/TC hybrid smart window using a DCPE that enables tunable solar modulation (ΔTsol:15–43%), fast electrochromic switching (<90 s), and strong thermal blocking (10–14°C reduction). HPMC improves thermal stability, while an optimized ISL enhances EC performance.

Gradient‐Conductivity Architecture Enables Synchronous Enhancement of Sensitivity and Detection Range in Multifunctional All‐Paper Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A gradient‐engineered all‐paper sensor is fabricated by integrating MXene and in situ grown AgNPs within hierarchical cellulose networks. The device breaks the sensitivity–detection range trade‐off through cascaded conductive pathways, enabling ultrahigh pressure sensitivity, humidity–pressure decoupled dual‐mode sensing, and outstanding EMI shielding,

Engineering Local Polar Frustration in Lead‐Free Dielectric Ceramics for Ultrahigh Normalized Energy Storage Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Local polar frustration is engineered to stabilize an ergodic relaxer through nanoscale multiphase coexistence, suppressing long‐range ferroelectric order while preserving high polarization. This strategy delivers ultrahigh low‐field normalized energy density (Wa >0.020 mC cm−2), exceptional thermal stability, and a transferable design principle for ...

Freeze‐Thaw Engineered Dual Conductivity Polymeric Binder Stabilizes Large‐Volume‐Change Lithium–Ion Battery Anodes

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This work developed an all‐aqueous freeze‐thaw strategy to create a dual‐conductive PVA/P3KBT binder for high volume‐change lithium–ion battery anodes. The resulting binder system strengthens the electrode structure, supports ion and electron transport, and accommodates repeated volume changes, reducing cracking and improving long‐term cycling ...

Hierarchical Collagen Nanofiber Gels Recapitulate a Physiologically Relevant Tumor Stromal Microenvironment

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The collagen nanofiber (CNF) gel supports cancer cell culture, exhibiting cell morphology and cancer‐related protein expression similar to Matrigel. It offers a higher collagen concentration than commercial gels. Additionally, the CNF gel allows replication of the high elasticity of in vivo cancer tissue by controlling collagen fiber sizes, ranging ...
