The procedure safety system [PDF]

open access: yes
Telerobotic operations, whether under autonomous or teleoperated control, require a much more sophisticated safety system than that needed for most industrial applications. Industrial robots generally perform very repetitive tasks in a controlled, static

A Modular Bioinstructive Platform Reveals Mechanistic Insights into Additive‐Free, Topography‐Driven Osteogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Engineered microparticle topographies direct human mesenchymal stem cell osteogenesis without biochemical additives. This osteogenic commitment is driven by canonical Hedgehog signaling and followed by temporal IGF‐II engagement. Two‐photon polymerization demonstrates spatial control, enabling the engineering of topographical gradients that pattern ...

Medical Fabrics with Non‐Antibiotic, Supramolecular Antimicrobial Coatings: A Preventive Approach to Combat Biofilm Formation and Bacterial Dissemination

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The study presents an antibiotic‐free strategy using medical fabrics coated with supramolecular assemblies of polyarginine and hyaluronic acid. These coatings showed strong antimicrobial and anti‐biofilm activity in vitro and in vivo, achieving major bacterial load reductions, including against MRSA.

Graphical programming and the use of simulation for space-based manipulators [PDF]

open access: yes
Robotic manipulators are difficult to program even without the special requirements of a zero-gravity environment. While attention should be paid to investigating the usefulness of industrial application programming methods to space manipulators, new ...

Mapping the Cerebral Organoid Landscape: A Systematic Review of Preclinical 3D Models in Neuroscience

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
Cerebral organoids are transforming brain research, yet the field remains fragmented. This comprehensive systematic review maps 738 studies published between 2014 and 2024 to uncover trends, gaps, and opportunities across neuroscience. Introducing OrganoidMap—an interactive, open‐access platform to explore and compare models—this work enables ...
