In Situ Visualization of Electron Beam‐Driven High‐Entropy Alloy Crystallization

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In situ transmission electron microscopy visualizes the electron beam‐driven crystallization of amorphous multielement glycerolate film into single‐phase high‐entropy alloy (HEA) nanoparticles. The athermal process proceeds via radiolytic reduction and localized atomic rearrangement, forming compositionally uniform, cuboidal face‐centered cubic HEA ...

Supramolecular Self‐Assembly of Organic Cu(I) Iodides as Green and Recyclable Paper‐Based Customizable Large‐Area Flexible Film for Plant Grow Lighting and Plant Root X‐Ray Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Organic Cu(I) iodides with efficient broadband photoluminescence and radioluminescence are reported. Based on “ancient cloth dyeing process”, a paper‐based flexible film is prepared in situ on cellulose, and demonstrates its application in plant growth lighting and plant root X‐ray imaging.

Energy dependence of fast neutron scattering cross-section for 54Fe nuclei

open access: yesЯдерна фізика та енергетика, 2017
omparison and analysis of experimental data on neutron interaction cross-sections for 54Fe nuclei were made in the energy range 0.3 - 26 MeV. The applicability of the optical-statistical approach and coupled-channels method for the description of ...

Inelastic neutron scattering applied to the investigation of collective excitations in topologically disordered matter

open access: yesCondensed Matter Physics, 2008
Inelastic neutron scattering techniques are introduced here as one of the most important experimental techniques in the investigation of collective excitations in fluids (liquids and compressed gases) and amorphous solids.

Disordered Glass Nanowire Substrates Produce in Vivo‐Like Astrocyte Morphology Revealed by Low‐Coherence Holotomography

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Low‐coherence holotomography reveals that disordered nanowire substrates guide astrocyte morphology toward branched, in vivo–like star‐shaped morphology, emphasizing the role of biophysical cues in shaping neural cell behavior. The developed nanostructured platform offers a new route to study astrocytes for neurobiology studies. Abstract Astrocytes are

Enhancing Electrical and Interfacial Properties of BeO/4H‐SiC Structures with SiO2 Interlayer

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
The integration of a SiO2 interlayer into the BeO/4H‐SiC stack effectively suppresses carbon‐induced interfacial defects during post‐deposition annealing. This achieves significantly lower interface trap densities and enhanced dielectric strength. Electrical measurements and band‐offset analysis confirm improved carrier confinement, demonstrating the ...

Tailoring π--d$\pi {\text{--}}d$ Magnetic Interactions in Metallated Porphyrin Nanotapes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
To understand how π$\pi$‐radicals and d$d$‐electrons interact within molecular nanostructures, we have studied metallated porphyrin nanotapes synthesized on gold surfaces. We reveal element‐specific results: with Fe centers the ferromagnetic π$\pi$‐d$d$ exchange dominates, while with Co centers the metal–metal exchange overpowers the π$\pi$‐d$d ...
