A priori estimates for the complex Hessian equations
We prove some $L^{\infty}$ a priori estimates as well as existence and stability theorems for the weak solutions of the complex Hessian equations in domains of $C^n$ and on compact K\"ahler manifolds.

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

Imaging of Biphoton States: Fundamentals and Applications
Quantum states of two photons exhibit a rich polarization and spatial structure, which provides a fundamental resource of strongly correlated and entangled states. This review analyzes the physics of these intriguing properties and explores the various techniques and technologies available to measure them, including the state of the art of their ...

Nanothermometry in Living Cells: Physical Limits, Conceptual and Material Challenges
Heat and temperature are fundamental to life. When nanothermometers began probing regions as small as a living cell, they triggered controversial claims of large intracellular temperature gradients. We review physical constraints energy‐conservation, entropy production, thermodynamic fluctuations, and molecular dynamics.

Universal inequalities for the eigenvalues of Schrodinger operators on submanifolds [PDF]
We establish inequalities for the eigenvalues of Schr\"odinger operators on compact submanifolds (possibly with nonempty boundary) of Euclidean spaces, of spheres, and of real, complex and quaternionic projective spaces, which are related to inequalities

On the Moser-Trudinger inequality in complex space
In this paper we prove the pluricomplex counterpart of the Moser-Trudinger and Sobolev inequalities in complex space. We consider these inequalities for plurisubharmonic functions with finite pluricomplex energy, and we estimate the concerned ...

Cuttlebone‐inspired metamaterials exploit a septum‐wall architecture to achieve excellent mechanical and functional properties. This review classifies existing designs into direct biomimetic, honeycomb‐type, and strut‐type architectures, summarizes governing design principles, and presents a decoupled design framework for interpreting multiphysical ...

In this study, by using the concepts of subordination, we define a new family RM,N,λ,γ of starlike functions of complex order γ connected with the cardioid domain.
