Software Environment for Motion Capture System Based on Inertial Sensors
2019 IEEE Conference of Russian Young Researchers in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EIConRus), 2019The paper describes the concept of building an interface system that allows you to develop control systems for robotic devices without specially prepared rooms or complex devices for the visual recognition of objects. The proposed interface uses inertial techniques to capture the movements of human limbs. The system is compact, ergonomic, and scalable.

Human Motion Capture with Sparse Inertial Sensors and Video
2020This thesis explores approaches to capture human motions with a small number of sensors. In the first part of this thesis an approach is presented that reconstructs the body pose from only six inertial sensors. Instead of relying on pre-recorded motion databases, a global optimization problem is solved to maximize the consistency of ...

Inertial Motion Capture System with an Adaptive Control Algorithm
2019Motion capture (MoCap) systems are increasingly used for rehabilitation and diagnostic purposes. However, dissemination of this type of solutions requires further development and reduction of prices, especially for high-precision systems. The paper presents a tested MoCap system architecture, which is based on independent, integrated sensor modules ...

Computer Graphics and Imaging / 798: Signal Processing, Pattern Recognition and Applications, 2013
This paper presents a novel approach for computing the horizontal displacement of inertial motion capture systems by augmenting the lowest-point algorithm with methodologies for calculating a body's musculoskeletal centre of weight. This approach is aimed at improving the overall anchor selection process of kinematic models during gait to alleviate ...

On Natural Motion Processing using Inertial Motion Capture and Deep Learning
2020To better design technology that can assist people in their daily lives, it is necessary to better understand how people move and act in the real-world with little to no instruction from researchers. Personal assistants such as Alexa and Google Assistant have benefited from what researchers call natural language processing.

THE -CAPTURE PROBLEM FOR INERTIAL MOTIONS UNDER INTEGRAL CONSTRAINTS
In this paper, we consider the -capture problem in a differential game with inertial objects (a pursuer and an evader). These objects have controls that are subject to integral constraints and start with identical initial velocity vectors in Euclidean space.openaire +1 more source
