A Technique to Determine Coordinates of the Patellar Entry Point and Transition Point of the Patellofemoral Joint Using Computed Tomography Scans

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Patellas of patellofemoral instability patients typically have more lateral entry points into their proximal trochleas. They also generally have more shallow or convex proximal trochlear grooves, leading to trochlear transition points where the grooves straighten distally.

All‐Arthroscopic Rotator Cuff Muscle Advancement With Pan Scapular Release and Using the Scapular Triangular View

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract An all‐arthroscopic rotator cuff muscle advancement technique is presented for posterosuperior massive tears. This procedure involves subperiosteal release of the supraspinatus and infraspinatus from the scapula while preserving continuity with the levator scapulae and the rhomboid muscles.

Primary hyperfunction of the inferior oblique muscles

open access: yesОфтальмохирургия, 2019
In the context of the development of modern strabismology debatable issues still remain, among which the most important and long-term is the choice of tactics for the treatment of primary hyperfunction of the inferior oblique muscle.

Computer‐Assisted Hip Arthroscopy for Portal Establishment and Suture Anchor Placement

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Hip arthroscopy is the gold standard for treating femoroacetabular impingement syndrome and acetabular labral tears. Portal establishment and suture anchor placement are crucial steps for ensuring the success of the surgery. However, because of the complex anatomy, deep location, and narrow joint space of the hip joint, the learning curve for ...

Arthroscopic Marrow‐Stimulating Procedure for Full‐Thickness Knee Cartilage Lesions

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Articular cartilage defects remain challenging to treat because cartilage is avascular, sparsely cellular and has limited intrinsic healing potential. If left untreated, these lesions may progress to degenerative osteoarthritis, resulting in persistent pain and functional limitation.

Analogue Modelling of Inverted Oblique Rift Systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The geometric evolution of brittle fault systems in inverted oblique and offset rift systems has been simulated using scaled sandbox analogue models. Dry fine-grained quartz sand was used to represent the brittle upper crust.

Biological Augmentation of Arthroscopic Partial‐Thickness Bursal‐Sided Rotator Cuff Repair Using Minced Autologous Glenohumeral Ligament Tissue Particles

open access: yesArthroscopy Techniques, EarlyView.
Abstract Rotator cuff tears are associated with high retear rates and limited healing capacity after repair. We describe an arthroscopic biological augmentation technique using minced autologous glenohumeral ligament tissue during double‐row partial‐thickness bursal‐sided rotator cuff repair.
