LEAD: Literature Enhanced Ab Initio Discovery of Nitride Dusting Layers for Enhanced Tunnel Magnetoresistance and Lower Resistance Magnetic Tunnel Junctions

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Magnetic tunnel junctions (MTJs) using MgO tunnel barriers face challenges of high resistance‐area product and low tunnel magnetoresistance (TMR). To discover alternative materials, Literature Enhanced Ab initio Discovery (LEAD) is developed. The LEAD‐predicted materials are theoretically evaluated, showing that MTJs with dusting of ScN or TiN on ...

An Attempt of Resolving Black Hole Singularities Using Angular Geometry: A Finite Alternative to Infinites in Spacetime Curvature

open access: yes
This paper is an attempt to look at black hole singularities from a fresh, geometric angle — literally.Instead of treating singularities as points of infinite curvature, this work explores whether space could simply bend in a smooth, finite way using only angular deflection.

Thermodynamic Limits to Molecular Doping in Conjugated Polymers: A Perspective on Phase Behavior and Miscibility

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Molecular doping of conjugated polymers is fundamentally constrained by thermodynamic phase behavior. This Perspective reframes doping efficiency and stability in terms of miscibility limits, binodals, and solvus boundaries, highlighting the role of effective interaction parameters and charge transfer.

Rethinking Charge Transport and Recombination in Donor‐Diluted Organic Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Organic solar cells with 1–45% PM6 content in Y12 were studied to link structure and charge dynamics to performance. The conductivity follows a 3D percolation model without a sharp threshold. Donor dilution preserves the photogeneration yield, but limits the fill factor due to transport resistance losses.

Hydrodynamic Singularities [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
The equations of hydrodynamics are nonlinear partial differential equations, so they include the possibility of forming singularities in finite time. This means that hydrodynamic fields become infinite or at least non-smooth at points, lines, or even ...

Resonant Domain Wall Dynamics in a Three‐Dimensional Magnetic Nano Double Helix

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
3D magnetic nanostructures promise exciting possibilities for magnetization dynamics. However, experimental realizations remain scarce. In nanoprinted cobalt double helices, time‐resolved X‐ray microscopy reveals harmonic domain wall dynamics. Simulations identify the mode and additional higher‐frequency resonances, revealing a rich dynamic landscape ...

Electromagnetic Waves in Crystals: The Presence of Exceptional Points

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research
Although the investigation of the propagation of electromagnetic waves in crystals dates back to the 19th century, the presence of singular optic axes in optically anisotropic materials has not been fully explored until now.

Weak In‐Plane Ferromagnetism and Electronic Nematicity in the Distorted Triple‐Q Magnetic Phase of Co1/3TaS2

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Co1/3TaS2${\rm Co}_{1/3}{\rm TaS}_{2}$ hosts a triple‐Q noncoplanar antiferromagnetic state with coexisting Z3${\rm Z}_3$ electronic nematicity. We report rotational hysteresis observed in both magnetoresistance and magnetic torque, revealing strongly pinned in‐plane weak ferromagnetic moments in the triple‐Q phase and the magnetism‐driven nature of ...
