A systematic interpolatory method for an impurity in a one-dimensional fermionic background
We explore a new numerical method for studying one-dimensional quantum systems in a trapping potential. We focus on the setup of an impurity in a fermionic background, where a single distinguishable particle interacts through a contact potential with a ...

We present the exact solution of the one-dimensional stationary Dirac equation for the pseudoscalar interaction potential, which consists of a constant and a term that varies in accordance with the inverse-square-root law.

Frustating use of the Laplace transform for the quantum states of a particle in a box
In a recent paper diffused in the literature, the quantum problem of a particle in a infinite square well potential was claimed to be solved via Laplace transform.

Approximate stabilization of a quantum particle in a 1D infinite potential well [PDF]
Abstract We consider a non relativistic charged particle in a 1D infinite square potential well. This quantum system is subjected to a control, which is a uniform (in space) time depending electric field. It is represented by a complex probability amplitude, solution of a Schrodinger equation on a 1D bounded domain, with Dirichlet boundary conditions.

Path integral solution to a charged particle in an infinite square-well potential with a constant electric field [PDF]
The propagator of a charged particle in an infinite square-well potential in one dimension with a constant electric field is solved exactly using Feynman path integration. The wave function of the system is evaluated by the propagator.

Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

3-dimensional Λ-BMS symmetry and its deformations
In this paper we study quantum group deformations of the infinite dimensional symmetry algebra of asymptotically AdS spacetimes in three dimensions. Building on previous results in the finite dimensional subalgebras we classify all possible Lie bialgebra

Development and implementation of a finite element program for static electromagnetic field problems [PDF]
Bibliography: leaves 102-106.A program is presented for the solution of static electromagnetic fields in bounded and unbounded 2- dimensional domains. The program comprises of a mesh generator which descretises the domain into triangular finite elements ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
