Infinity-Inner-Products on A-Infinity-Algebras
, 2001 In this paper the Hochschild-cochain-complex of an A-infinity-algebra A with values in an A-infinity-bimodule M over A and maps between them is defined. Then, an infinity-inner-product on A is defined to be an A-infinity-bimodule-map between A and its dual A*. There is a graph-complex associated to A-infinity-algebras with infinity-inner-product.

Phase Field Failure Modeling: Brittle‐Ductile Dual‐Phase Microstructures under Compressive Loading
Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.The approach by Amor and the approach by Miehe and Zhang for asymmetric damage behavior in the phase field method for fracture are compared regarding their fitness for microcrack‐based failure modeling. The comparison is performed for the case of a dual‐phase microstructure with a brittle and a ductile constituent.

Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.We develop a data‐driven method to derive the mathematical expressions of the Flory–Huggins interaction parameter χ for the swelling behavior of temperature–responsive hydrogels. Starting from initial assumptions of χ, our workflow combines Bayesian optimization, Flory–Rehner theory, and symbolic regression to generate candidate χ expressions.

Microstructure Evolution of a VMnFeCoNi High‐Entropy Alloy After Synthesis, Swaging, and Annealing
Advanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.The synthesis and processing (rotary swaging and annealing) of the novel VMnFeCoNi alloy is investigated, alongside the estimation of the grain size effect on hardness. Analysis of a wide grain size range of recrystallized microstructures (12–210 µm) reveals a low annealing twin density.
