Scalability Measurements in an Information-Centric Network [PDF]
Information Centric Networking (ICN) is a new paradigm in which the network layer provides users with content, instead of providing communication channels between hosts, and is aware of the name (identifier) of the contents. In this chapter, first, we briefly describe the FP7 project CONVERGENCE and its approach to ICN.

Genetic testing in epithelial ovarian cancer includes both germline and tumor‐testing. This approach often duplicates resources. The current prospective study assessed the feasibility of tumor‐first multigene testing by comparing tumor tissue with germline testing of peripheral blood using an 18‐gene NGS panel in 106 patients.

Networked music performance over information-centric networks [PDF]
Information-centric networking (ICN) constitutes an alternative to the conventional, IP-based, internetworking, with information itself being identified rather than the host where it resides. This approach introduces powerful tools and operations for content delivery, such as native support for multicast.

ERRFI1, a neural crest (NC)‐associated gene, was upregulated in melanoma and negatively correlated with the expression of melanocytic differentiation markers and the susceptibility of melanoma cells toward BRAF inhibitors (BRAFi). Knocking down ERRFI1 significantly increased the sensitivity of melanoma cells to BRAFi.

Survivin and Aurora Kinase A control cell fate decisions during mitosis
Aurora A interacts with survivin during mitosis and regulates its centromeric role. Loss of Aurora A activity mislocalises survivin, the CPC and BubR1, leading to disruption of the spindle checkpoint and triggering premature mitotic exit, which we refer to as ‘mitotic slippage’.

A Collaborative Pricing Framework for In-Network Caching in Information- Centric Networking
As a promising future Internet architecture, information-centric networking (ICN) takes the content as the focal point while shifting away from the traditional host-centric paradigm. The content-oriented feature and in-network caching from ICN enable new

Secure producer mobility in information-centric network
One of the fundamental requirements of the next generation 5G networks is to support seamless mobility over an heterogeneous access network by design. The shift from host-based to content-based location-independent communication makes Information-Centric Networking (ICN) an appealing technology to provide not only mobility, but also security and ...

Survey on the Incorporation of NDN/CCN in IoT
Named data networking (NDN) has emerged as a component of the Future Internet architecture to support scalable content distribution, mobility, security, and trust; as well as to provide access to information irrespective of its physical location. The NDN,
