The information content of a vernier judgement
Kybernetik, 1972Experimental results are given for the performance of a vernier task without visual input. Entropies obtained from the distribution of errors in performing this task are compared with entropies obtained from earlier experiments with visual input. The entropy difference gives the information in bits transmitted by the visual system.
