Highly intensive data dissemination in complex networks [PDF]
This paper presents a study on data dissemination in unstructured Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network overlays. The absence of a structure in unstructured overlays eases the network management, at the cost of non-optimal mechanisms to spread messages in the network.

Q fever outbreak in the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, Switzerland
Abstract Coxiella burnetii infection (Q fever) is a widespread zoonosis with low endemicity in Switzerland, therefore no mandatory public report was required. A cluster of initially ten human cases of acute Q fever infections characterized by prolonged fever, asthenia and mild hepatitis occurred in 2012 in the terraced vineyard of Lavaux ...

Crosstalk between gut microbiota and tumor: tumors could cause gut dysbiosis and metabolic imbalance
In this research, we analyzed the relationship between gut microbiota and tumor. We discovered that both subcutaneous and metastatic tumors would alter the composition and metabolic function of gut microbiota. Meanwhile, fecal microbiota transplantation also indicated the anti‐tumor role of the gut microbiota, revealing the crosstalk between tumor and ...

E-Health Sensitive Data Dissemination Exploiting Trust and Mobility of Users [PDF]
E-health services handle a massive amount of sensitive data, requiring reliability and privacy. The advent of new technologies drives e-health services into their continuous provision outside traditional care institutions. This creates uncertain and unreliable conditions, resulting in the challenge of controlling sensitive user data dissemination. Then,
