CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression

In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.

3D visualisation as a tool for managing diagnostic and prognostic information of industrial machinery

This article presents the results of the Prognosis 3D project. A 3D user interface is presented, which combines the results of the prognosis computation with the factory model, producing an intuitive 3D interface, where the failing / failed components can be located easily.

Accurate and noninvasive prostate cancer detection using plasma‐derived extracellular vesicle RNA

Plasma extracellular vesicles were captured with WGA‐conjugated magnetic beads and profiled for RNA biomarkers. A three‐RNA panel (NM_024955, NR_047469, and NR_002564) distinguished prostate cancer from healthy controls and benign prostatic hyperplasia, supporting a simple, noninvasive approach to improve prostate cancer detection.
