Se presenta un paciente que acudió a la Consulta de Otorrinolaringología con secreciones nasales abundantes y fétidas, obstrucción nasal, aumento de volumen de la nariz de aspecto tumoral y dolor de un año de evolución; una biopsia previa solo mostraba necrosis. Se le impuso tratamiento pero no mejoró.

La fascitis proliferativa (FP) junto a la miositis proliferativa (MP) y la fascitis nodular (FN), pertenece a un grupo de proliferaciones miofibroblásticas pseudosarcomatosas. La FP y la MP son lesiones benignas poco comunes en tejidos blandos, con buen pronóstico mediante exéresis completa.
