Ultralow and Selective Infrared Emission from MXenes [PDF]
Low and selective infrared emission materials are necessary for next generation thermal technologies, including passive heating, infrared identification, and photothermal conversion. Here, we report on the intrinsic infrared radiation properties of three MXenes: Ti3C2Tx, Ti3CNTx, and V4C3Tx.

Velocity estimation of space moving targets is a key part of space situational awareness. However, most of the existing methods do not consider the satellite observation process, and the performance mainly depends on the preset target motion state, which

Near-Infrared Spectra of Ultraluminous Infrared Galaxies [PDF]
Near infrared spectra with resolution R ~ 1100 in the rest wavelength range 1.8-2.2 microns have been obtained for a complete sample of 33 ultraluminous infrared galaxies. Of the 33 objects observed, 2 show evidence of a central AGN through either a broad Paschen-alpha line or emission in the 1.963 micron fine structure of [Si VI].

We present a new reversible phase-change medium Sb-rich Zn-Sb-Se film, which possesses a large difference in both optical and electrical constant. The doped-ZnSb, sub-formed Zn-Se, and exhausted Sb-Se3/2 co-influence the physical properties.

Transient Study of Femtosecond Laser–Induced Ge2Sb2Te5 Phase Change Film Morphology
Femtosecond laser-induced crystallization and ablation of Ge2Sb2Te5 (GST) phase change film is investigated by reflectivity pump-probing technology. Below the ablation threshold, the face-centered cubic structure (FCC) state in the central area can be ...

Follow-Up Near-infrared Spectroscopy of Ultraluminous Infrared Galaxies observed by ISO [PDF]
We present low resolution near-infrared spectroscopy of an unbiased sample of 24 ultraluminous infrared galaxies (ULIRGs), selected from samples previously observed spectroscopically in the mid-infrared with the Infrared Space Observatory (ISO). Qualitatively, the near-infrared spectra resemble those of starbursts.

Infrared analysis of propagators and vertices of Yang--Mills theory in Landau and Coulomb gauge [PDF]
The infrared behaviour of gluon and ghost propagators, ghost-gluon vertex and three-gluon vertex is investigated for both the covariant Landau and the non-covariant Coulomb gauge.
