A Review of Mid-Infrared Supercontinuum Generation in Chalcogenide Glass Fibers

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2018
Chalcogenide glasses have the advantages of a wide transparency window (over 20 μm) and high optical nonlinearity (up to a thousand times greater than that of silica glasses), making them good candidates for mid-infrared supercontinuum generation.

A Multi-Dimensional Feature Fusion Recognition Method for Space Infrared Dim Targets Based on Fuzzy Comprehensive with Spatio-Temporal Correlation

open access: yesRemote Sensing
Space infrared (IR) target recognition has always been a key issue in the field of space technology. The imaging distance is long, the target is weak, and the feature discrimination is low, making it difficult to distinguish between high-threat targets ...

Connecting the cosmic infrared background to the X-ray background

open access: yes, 2004
We estimate the contribution of AGNs and of their host galaxies to the infrared background. We use the luminosity function and evolution of AGNs recently determined by the hard X-ray surveys, and new Spectral Energy Distributions connecting the X-ray and

Efficient and Scalable Radiative Cooling for Photovoltaics Using Solution‐Processable and Solar‐Transparent Mesoporous Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Graded refractive index (GRI) structures are prepared from the layer‐by‐layer spray coating of the mesoporous SiO2 nanoparticles, showing high solar transparency and thermal emissivity. Under outdoor conditions, after 50 days, the GRI‐coated photovoltaics show on average 6.65 ± 1.48 °C lower than that of the non‐coated references, maintaining 80.9 ± 8 ...

Unlocking ultra-high holographic information capacity through nonorthogonal polarization multiplexing

open access: yesNature Communications
Contemporary studies in polarization multiplexing are hindered by the intrinsic orthogonality constraints of polarization states, which restrict the scope of multiplexing channels and their practical applications.

Stabilized Intermediate Phase Via Pseudo‐Halide Anions Toward Highly Efficient and Light‐Soaking Stable Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, Volume 35, Issue 12, March 18, 2025.
The formate pseudo‐halide anion is strategically introduced at the buried interface to stabilize the intermediate phases formed during perovskite crystallization. The controlled crystallization enhances crystallinity and alleviates tensile strain, eliminating residual PbI2 near the buried interface.
