Intra-Arterial Infusion

Oncology, 2009
3 groups of far-advanced cancer of head and neck were studied according to therapeutic regimen. The 1st group was treated by infusion alone, the 2nd group by simultaneous radiation and infusion, and the 3rd group by infusion, radiation, and surgery. The results indicate that the survival rate was best in the 3rd group.

A Technique for Intra‐Arterial Infusion of the Pelvis

Australian and New Zealand Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, 1967
The increasing use of single intra‐arterial injections of a cytotoxic agent for advanced malignancy (Harrison, 1963, 1964; Falcson et al., 1964) has led to the development by us of a simple technique for direct infusion of the internal iliac artery and its branches.

Hepatic intra-arterial infusion of vincristine

Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology, 1984
Currently the chemotherapeutic agents available for intra-arterial infusion in metastatic liver cancer are limited to only a few. The recent demonstration of the feasibility of prolonged IV infusion of vincristine led to exploration of hepatic intra-arterial infusion of this agent. A continuous infusion of 0.4 mg total dose was administered daily for 5

Intra-arterial infusion of thrombin: Animal experiments

Minimally Invasive Therapy & Allied Technologies, 2013

Hepatic intra-arterial infusion of fotemustine: pharmacokinetics

Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology, 1992
Fotemustine is a new nitrosourea derivative that contains an alpha-aminophosphonic acid and has a short half-life and a high plasma clearance. As myelosuppression occurs as the dose-limiting toxicity, local drug delivery has been investigated in the treatment of liver metastases arising from colorectal cancer.
