Spatial Abilities and Endodontic Access Cavity Preparation: Implications for Dental Education. [PDF]
ABSTRACT Introduction Access cavity preparation is a crucial step in root canal treatment but is one of the most complex procedures in the curriculum to learn, with students often reporting spatial orientation difficulties during drilling. The present study aimed to evaluate the influence of spatial abilities on the preparation of endodontic access ...

Abstract A strategy of CO2‐assisted extrusion foaming of PMMA‐based materials was established to minimize both foam density and porosities dimension. First a highly CO2‐philic block copolymer (MAM: PMMA‐PBA‐PMMA) was added in PMMA in order to improve CO2 saturation before foaming.

Digital light processing (DLP) 3D printing was optimized to obtain polymeric nanocomposites with programmable and controlled magnetic anisotropy. This process allow to obtain magnetoresponsive objects which were exploited to fabricate gear‐based devices which undergo programmed movements or actuators with different stiffness, allowing both pure ...

A generic topography reconstruction method based on multi‐detector backscattered electron images
Abstract Surface topographies can be reconstructed from backscattered electron (BSE) images captured from different detector orientations. This article presents a very general approach to this problem, in the spirit of photometric stereo methods, allowing for arbitrary BSE detector number (at least 3) and shapes.
