The linear and nonlinear dynamics of thermal convection of a rotating hybrid nanofluid layer heated from below with the Cattaneo–Christov heat flux model are studied in this paper. Starting from the flow equations of a hybrid nanofluid and exploiting the free boundary conditions, the analytical expressions of the stationary and oscillatory Rayleigh ...

Abstract Tunneling effect plays a significant part in the extremely low electric percolation threshold and large conductivity of carbon nanotube (CNT)/polymer nanocomposites, which allows electric conduction between two CNTs separated at nanometric distances. In this work, a numerical model taking into account the nonlinear tunneling effect is proposed

Numerical study of the effect of concrete cover and the friction of steel concrete interface [PDF]
The work presented in this paper resume a numerical analysis of the concrete cover effect, on the resistance of the steel-concrete interface. The effect of friction on the interface behavior is also included.

Chaos in a Financial System with Fractional Order and Its Control via Sliding Mode
In this paper, the dynamical behaviors and chaos control of a fractional‐order financial system are discussed. The lowest fractional order found from which the system generates chaos is 2.49 for the commensurate order case and 2.13 for the incommensurate order case. Also, period‐doubling route to chaos was found in this system.

In this paper, adaptive control and adaptive synchronization of an integer and fractional order new financial system with unknown constant parameters are studied. Based on Lyapunov’s stability theory, an adaptive control law is designed to asymptotically stabilize the state variables of the system to the origin in integer and fractional order cases. By

This study aimed to investigate the efficacy of whole‐body vibration training (WBVT) on blood brain‐derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) levels and determine the clinical and functional outcomes in patients with fibromyalgia syndrome (FMS). Thirty‐two women with FMS were randomized into an intervention group (IG), receiving 6 weeks of WBVT, or a control ...

Corrigendum to “Chaos in a Financial System with Fractional Order and Its Control via Sliding Mode”
In this paper, the dynamical behaviors and chaos control of a fractional‐order financial system are discussed. The lowest fractional order found from which the system generates chaos is 2.49 for the commensurate order case and 2.57 for the incommensurate order case. Also, the period‐doubling route to chaos was found in this system.
