An Operator Method for the Stability of Inhomogeneous Wave Equations [PDF]
In this paper, we will apply the operator method to prove the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of the wave equation, u t t ( x , t ) − c 2 ▵ u ( x , t ) = f ( x , t ) , for a class of real-valued functions with continuous second partial derivatives. Finally, we will discuss the stability more explicitly by giving examples.

Fixed points of inhomogeneous smoothing transforms
We consider the inhomogeneous version of the fixed-point equation of the smoothing transformation, that is, the equation $X \stackrel{d}{=} C + \sum_{i \geq 1} T_i X_i$, where $\stackrel{d}{=}$ means equality in distribution, $(C,T_1,T_2,...)$ is a given

EDX elemental map of the pre‐oxidized MgO–steel cermet anode cross section after electrolysis. The development of inert anodes for aluminum electrolysis remains challenging due to the high corrosivity of cryolite‐based melts at 950°C–1000°C. This study investigates the corrosion and process behavior of a carbon‐free MgO–steel cermet anode derived from ...

On the Inhomogeneous Conservative Wiener–Hopf Equation
The paper deals with the inhomogeneous Wiener-Hopf equation of the form \[ z(x) = \int_{-\infty}^x z(x-y)F(dy) +f(x), \quad x>0. \tag{1} \] In (1), \(z\) is an unknown function, \(F\) is a given distribution and \(f\) is a known function. In this paper, the existence of a solution to (1) is proved in the case where the kernel is a probability ...

This study develops sustainable MgO–C refractories using recycled materials and eco‐friendly fructose–tannin binders. The enhanced performance of citric acid as a cross‐linker and functional additives on mechanical and thermomechanical properties was examined. Characterization included strength tests, immersion trials, and microstructural and inclusion

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

Simple Harmonic Oscillator Equation and Its Hyers-Ulam Stability
We solve the inhomogeneous simple harmonic oscillator equation and apply this result to obtain a partial solution to the Hyers-Ulam stability problem for the simple harmonic oscillator equation.

Integral equations for simple fluids in a general reference functional approach
The integral equations for the correlation functions of an inhomogeneous fluid mixture are derived using a functional Taylor expansion of the free energy around an inhomogeneous equilibrium distribution.
