Calculation of the magnetic field in the active zone of a hysteresis clutch [PDF]

open access: yes
The initial distribution of magnetic induction in the armature stationary was calculated relative to the polar system of a hysteresis clutch. Using several assumptions, the problem is reduced to calculating the static magnetic field in the ferromagnetic ...

The Existence of Positive Solutions of Singular Initial-Value Problem for Second Order Differential Equations-2

open access: yesCommunications in Advanced Mathematical Sciences, 2020
We consider the singular initial value problem for the second order differential equation. We interested in the existence of positive solutions and proved an easily applicable theorem on the existence of positive solutions to initial-value problems for second-order nonlinear singular differential equations.

Differential Item Functioning on the Patient Health Questionnaire 8 by Disease Subtype, Language, Sex, and Age Among People With Systemic Sclerosis: A Scleroderma Patient‐Centered Intervention Network Cohort Study

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Somatic items used in depression assessments can potentially overlap with symptoms related to physical illness, including systemic sclerosis (SSc). No studies have looked at whether somatic depression items may be influenced by diffuse versus limited SSc disease subtypes, which are associated with varying degrees of symptom presentation.

Retractions in Rheumatology: Trends, Causes, and Implications for Research Integrity

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective We aimed to describe the trends and main reasons for study retraction in rheumatology literature. Methods We reviewed the Retraction Watch database to identify retracted articles in rheumatology. We recorded the main study characteristics, authors’ countries, reasons for retraction, time from publication to retraction, and trends over time ...

Calculation of free fall trajectories based on numerical optimization techniques [PDF]

open access: yes
The development of a means of computing free-fall (nonthrusting) trajectories from one specified point in the solar system to another specified point in the solar system in a given amount of time was studied.

A Q‐Learning Algorithm to Solve the Two‐Player Zero‐Sum Game Problem for Nonlinear Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, Volume 39, Issue 3, Page 566-581, March 2025.
A Q‐learning algorithm to solve the two‐player zero‐sum game problem for nonlinear systems. ABSTRACT This paper deals with the two‐player zero‐sum game problem, which is a bounded L2$$ {L}_2 $$‐gain robust control problem. Finding an analytical solution to the complex Hamilton‐Jacobi‐Issacs (HJI) equation is a challenging task.

Optimized Multi-Position Calibration Method with Nonlinear Scale Factor for Inertial Measurement Units

open access: yesSensors, 2019
Navigation grade inertial measurement units (IMUs) should be calibrated after Inertial Navigation Systems (INSs) are assembled and be re-calibrated after certain periods of time. The multi-position calibration methods with advantage of not requiring high-

Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.
