Trust in Private and Common Property Experiments [PDF]
We report the results from a series of experiments designed to investigate behavior in two settings that are frequently posited in the policy literature as generating different outcomes: private property and common property.

Plasma membranes contain dynamic nanoscale domains that organize lipids and receptors. Because viruses operate at similar scales, this architecture shapes early infection steps, including attachment, receptor engagement, and entry. Using influenza A virus and HIV‐1 as examples, we highlight how receptor nanoclusters, multivalent glycan interactions ...

Coarse geometry of the fire retaining property and group splittings
Given a non-decreasing function $f \colon \mathbb{N} \to \mathbb{N}$ we define a single player game on (infinite) connected graphs that we call fire retaining.

Complete confined bases for beam propagation in Cartesian coordinates
Complete bases that are useful for beam propagation problems and that present the distinct property of being spatially confined at the initial plane are proposed. These bases are constructed in terms of polynomials of Gaussians, in contrast with standard

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

The Effect of Allowance Allocations on Cap-and-Trade System Performance [PDF]
We examine an implication of the "Coase Theorem" which has had an important impact both on environmental economics and on public policy in the environmental domain.

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

In this paper, we study the initial-boundary value problem of the Rosenau–Burgers equation by the multiple integral finite volume method (MIFVM). The MIFVM can keep the original equation property very well.

INITIAL COMPRESSIONAL PROPERTIES OF TWISTLESS-YARN FABRIC
The initial compressional properties of the twistless and twisted yarn fabrics are comparatively discussed. The pressure-thickness curves of 12 samples in Table 1 were represented. For twistless yarn fabrics, the values of h0 and h0.5 (h0: Initial thickness, h0.5: Thickness at 0.5g/cm2 pressure) are influenced by fabric densities, on the other hand ...
