Simulation of the temperature injection PHEMT

ICMMT 4th International Conference on, Proceedings Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology, 2004., 2005
A new microwave device model is brought out and simulated, which is called TI-PHEMT. The maximum extrinsic transconductance at high temperature increases significantly and therefore the microwave performance of HEMT at high temperature is increased. A new concept "temperature injection" is put forward to explain the reason.

Injectate temperature: effects on thermodilution CO measurements

Critical Care Nurse, 1990
The present study has confirmed the findings of other research and indicates that current technology permits accurate CO determination using room temperature injectate. Some patients, especially those with high output, temperature, or blood pressure, may continue to require iced injectate measures to ensure accuracy; more research is needed here.

Hypothalamic injection of morphine: Feeding and temperature responses

Life Sciences, 1981
Abstract Morphine (2.7, 5.6 and 10.3 nmoles) and norepinephrine (10, 20 and 40 nmoles) were applied to the ventromedial hypothalamus of male rats through cannulae which were implanted stereotaxically. Food intake was enhanced by both drugs as compared with saline.

Injectable sodium pentobarbital: Stability at room temperature

Journal of Pharmacological and Toxicological Methods, 2015
Sodium pentobarbital (Nembutal) is a barbiturate used in research as an anesthetic in many animal models. The injectable form of this drug has lately become difficult to procure and prohibitively expensive. Due to this lack of availability, researchers have begun to compound injectable sodium pentobarbital from so-called "nonpharmaceutical ...

Room Temperature Electrically Injected Polariton Laser

Physical Review Letters, 2014
Room temperature electrically pumped inversionless polariton lasing is observed from a bulk GaN-based microcavity diode. The low nonlinear threshold for polariton lasing occurs at 169 A/cm(2) in the light-current characteristics, accompanied by a collapse of the emission linewidth and small blueshift of the emission peak.

Turbulators for Temperature Control of Injection Moulding

International Polymer Science and Technology, 2017
The design of a cooling channel system in an injection mould is key to successful production. Locally controlled heat removal is targeted by introducing disturbances inside the cooling channel using so called turbulators. Computational fluid dynamic simulations show different levels of heat removal depending on the shape and configuration of the ...

Transient Temperature Variation of Injection Lasers

Japanese Journal of Applied Physics, 1981
We have observed the transient temperature variation of the active region of injection lasers. It is found that the heat generated in the active region is only about half the total input power. Analysis on the heat generation mechanisms suggests that the leakage current must be taken into account in buried-heterostructure lasers.

Calculation of the temperature field in injection molding

AIChE Journal, 1988
AbstractThe numerical simulation of nonisothermal effects during the filling stage of injection molding is investigated here. Generalized Newtonian fluid flows are simulated within thin cavities of arbitrary shape. The numerical scheme is based on a hybrid spatial discretization: classical low‐order Lagrangian interpolants are used in the midsurface ...

High temperature injection in capillary high temperature liquid chromatography

Journal of Microcolumn Separations, 1999
A new high temperature sample introduction device for use in packed capillary high temperature liquid chromatography has been developed. In combina- tion with a commercially available high temperature injection valve, samples with little solubility in any solvent at ambient temperature could be analyzed.
