Injective and Weakly Injective Rings
Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1988AbstractLet V be a variety of rings and let A ∊ V. The ring A is injective in V if every trianglewith C ∊ V, m a monomorphism and f a homomorphism has a commutative completion as indicated. A ring which is injective in some variety (equivalently, injective in the variety it generates) is called injective.

AbstractThis unit describes the techniques for the following routes of injection for mice, rats, hamsters and rabbits: intramuscular, intradermal, subcutaneous, intravenous, intraperitoneal, footpad, and intrathymic. Guidelines are also given regarding injection volumes and temperatures, and the use of proper restraints.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia with associated symptoms and morbidity is increasingly common among aging men. Medical treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms is the mainstay of therapy with progressive disease requiring more invasive intervention. Transurethral resection of the prostate remains a widely applied gold standard therapy. Numerous minimally

The Modelling of Injecting Behaviour and Initiation into Injecting
Addiction Research, 1999The modelling of injecting by injecting drug users (IDUs) around non-injecting drug users (NIDUs) is examined as a precursor to NIDUs initiation into injecting. Structured self-report interviews were conducted with 86 IDUs. 86% of the sample had been initiated into injecting by an IDU: 78% of their initiators being either a friend, partner, or sibling.

When are Quasi-Injectives Injective?
Canadian Mathematical Bulletin, 1972We call a ring R (associative and with identity) for which every quasi-injective right R-module is injective a QII-ring. Similarly R is called an SSI-ring when every semisimple right R-module is injective. Clearly every semisimple, artinian ring is a QII-ring and every QII-ring is an SSI-ring.

Pain on injection of propofol: the effect of injectate temperature
Anaesthesia, 1990SummaryA double‐blind, randomised clinical study was undertaken to compare the effect of temperature on the incidence and severity of the pain experienced on injection of propofol. The number of patients who experienced pain and the severity of the pain were reduced significantly when propofol was administered at a temperature of 4°C.

Physical Therapy, 1987
To the Editor: I would like to comment on an article that appeared in the December 1986 issue of Physical Therapy, “Physical Therapy Management of the Shoulder,” by Arthur J. Nitz. I am not a subscriber, but my attention was drawn to this article when I was doing a literature review on shoulders.
