Homological algebra of pro-Lie Polish abelian groups [PDF]
In this paper, we initiate the study of pro-Lie Polish abelian groups from the perspective of homological algebra. We extend to this context the type-decomposition of locally compact Polish abelian groups of Hoffmann and Spitzweck, and prove that the ...

Cup products in sheaf cohomology, pure injectives, and a substitute for projective resolutions [PDF]
Two new definitions are given for cup products in the cohomology of sheaves on an arbitrary Grothendieck topology. These products are shown to have the usual properties.

Bicommutators of nice injectives [PDF]
Given any injective module IR, its bicommutator S contains as a subring the ring Q of quotients of R relative to the largest torsion theory for which IR is torsionfree. Q is even a dense subring of S if IR is sufficiently “nice”: every torsionfree factor

Pure Projectives and Injectives
A module over a ring \(R\) is pure projective or pure injective if it has the (category-theoretic) injective or projective property relative to all pure short exact sequences. Pure exactness, pure injectivity, and indeed injectivity can all be characterized by conditions in terms of the solvability of systems of linear equations.

SG_C-Projective, Injective and Flat modules [PDF]
In this paper we introduce the concepts of $SG_C$-projective, injective and flat modules, where $C$ is a semidualizing module and we discuss some connections among $SG_C$-projective, injective and flat modules.

Injectives in residuated algebras
Injectives in several classes of structures associated with logic are characterized. Among the classes considered are residuated lattices, MTL-algebras, IMTL-algebras, BLalgebras, NM-algebras and bounded ...

ABSTRACT Background Pediatric thromboembolism is increasingly encountered in critical care. Systemic thrombolysis with tissue plasminogen activator (tPA) facilitates vessel or valve patency, yet pediatric‐specific protocols remain undefined, and safety concerns persist. Objective To evaluate the efficacy and safety of a tailored, prolonged systemic tPA

We present robust protocols for the preparation of supported lipid bilayers (SLBs) incorporating either Salmonella smooth LPS or outer membrane vesicles (OMVs). We use a combination of quartz crystal microbalance with dissipation (QCM‐D) and fluorescence microscopy to both characterize the SLBs of various compositions and to probe their interactions ...
