MXene Wrapped Magnetic Mesocrystals for Durable Redox Catalytic Cancer Therapy and Responsive MRI

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Conformal wrapping of ultrathin Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets on Fe3O4 mesocrystals creates topology‐stabilized Schottky junctions that direct photoinduced electron transfer under NIR irradiation. The unique architecture sustains Fenton catalysis, promotes continuous hydroxyl radical production, and provides photo‐responsive MRI contrast.

Reduced Graphene Oxide Transparent Electrodes Enabling Compact Soft Tunable Lenses

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
By spray‐coating an elastomeric membrane with reduced graphene oxide (rGO) at various surface densities, elastomeric actuators are manufactured. Electro‐mechano‐optical characterizations show the suitability of rGO as an effective material for compliant, semi‐transparent electrodes, enabling soft electrically tunable lenses with a compact form factor ...

Shakespeare’s Poetics of Impurity: Spots, Stains, and Slime

open access: yesEtudes Epistémè, 2018
Spots, stains and smears keep recurring in Shakespeare’s plays and poems, where they often appear as the marks of sin, evil and violence. While this is undoubtedly the case in a number of occurrences, I argue here that these polluted sites of exploration

Preparation and characterisation of inks for let printing onto textile materials [PDF]

open access: yes, 2004
The feasibility of using thermal drop-on-demand ink jet printing to print pigmented ink systems onto textile materials was investigated. Preliminary studies showed that a novel binder system, Synthappret BAP (traditionally used as a shrink resist ...

Suitability of Copper Nitride as a Wiring Ink Sintered by Low-Energy Intense Pulsed Light Irradiation

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2018
Copper nitride particles have a low decomposition temperature, they absorb light, and are oxidation-resistant, making them potentially useful for the development of novel wiring inks for printing circuit boards by means of intense pulsed light (IPL ...
