Inequalities That Imply the Norm of a Linear Space Is Induced by an Inner Product
The aim of this paper is to investigate when a linear normed space is an inner product space. Several conditions in a linear normed space are formulated with the help of inequalities. Some of them are from the literature and others are new. We prove that

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

$n$-inner product spaces and projections [PDF]
summary:This paper is a continuation of investigations of $n$-inner product spaces given in \cite{five,six,seven} and an extension of results given in \cite{three} to arbitrary natural $n$.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Revisiting the Definition of Vectors—From ‘Magnitude and Direction’ to Abstract Tuples
Vectors are almost always introduced as objects having magnitude and direction. Following that idea, textbooks and courses introduce the concept of a vector norm and the angle between two vectors.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Symplectic Bregman Divergences
We present a generalization of Bregman divergences in finite-dimensional symplectic vector spaces that we term symplectic Bregman divergences. Symplectic Bregman divergences are derived from a symplectic generalization of the Fenchel–Young inequality ...

Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

In compressed sensing (CS), the absolute value of the inner product of signal and atom (or dictionary) is used to select atom (or dictionary); the atoms (or dictionaries) with larger absolute values of inner product are selected to decompose and ...
